Between the ages of 3-5 children usually make steps forward in developing their fine motor skills and dexterity. Here is a creative and cost-effective way to help children strengthen dexterity in their hands and fingers.
Instead of using lacing cards try using objects that could be strung into yarn, wire, rope and plastic string.
We used wire and items from our recycling bins.
This looks awesome - what a great idea to use stuff outta your recycling bin - I think Henry might be more interested in doing this with those types of things.

It sure is a fun way to practice lacing.Instead of using ordinary beads,try something new. The children always have a great time...
