The Power Creative Toys

Everything that is new or uncommon raises a pleasure in the imagination, because it fills the soul with an agreeable surprise, gratifies its curiosity, and gives it an idea of which it was not before possessed.

What are CREATIVE TOYS? They are loose parts that have the capability to transform into other things through imaginative play. When children are allowed to imagine things and eventually put these thoughts into play, they create incredible structures, paintings, sculptures, music, stories, and dances.

We need to provide toys that can be used in a variety of ways and most importantly need a child’s interaction.

A few weeks ago, I found a big bag of wooden rings at a Goodwill store. I couldn’t wait to add these beautiful pieces to our light table.

The pictures you are about to see are astonishing. A six year old boy created a very colorful Olympic Village for butterflies, birds, and frogs.

It all started with five rings!

The core Olympic values in their rings are:

Friendship, Inspiration, Excellence, Respect, Courage, Equality, and Determination.
