Abstract Prints with Homemade Stamps

Materials:

Styrofoam trays or plates
Scissors
A sharp pencil
Paint brushes
Acrylic paints
Bottle caps
Paper

Directions:

Cut off rounded corners of the Styrofoam tray or plate. It should lay flat on top of the paper.
Use a pencil to draw your design directly on the Styrofoam, pushing hard enough to create a light indentation.
Once you have finished drawing, tape or glue a bottle cap onto the Styrofoam stamp. This makes a perfect stamp holder.
Cover the entire stamp with paint.
Press stamp down, lift up and see the beautiful reverse image.
