The inspiration for this Abstract Art came from Jackson Pollack’s innovative technique of dripping paint on canvas. Children are awestruck with this method of painting because they get to observe the paints gradually dripping down, and they love to see the paints ran in together to create new colors. The best part of this project is that the children are involved in the WHOLE PROCESS.
How we did our version of Drip Art
We hung a thick material directly on our window.
We used a red synthetic leather fabric.
The children took turns standing on a chair to drip paints on the fabric.
We used Biocolors for this art activity.
The enjoyment is in watching the paint movement!
We haven't really tried any drip art! This is so inspiring!!
